Bowen Therapy FAQs
FAQs For People
What should I wear to my Bowen Therapy session?
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax easily. Bowen Therapy is usually performed through light clothing, so there is no need to undress.
Do I need to remove clothing during treatment?
In most cases, no. Occasionally, removing bulky outer layers such as jackets or thick jumpers may be recommended to allow comfortable access to certain areas.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive well hydrated and allow time to relax before your session. Avoid scheduling strenuous activity immediately afterwards where possible.
What should I do after my session?
It is recommended to:
• Stay well hydrated
• Avoid heavy exercise for 24–48 hours
• Gentle walking is encouraged
This supports your body’s natural recovery process.
